To round out the wonderful event of Thanksgiving, perhaps consider learning a few facts to share with your family or friends this week. Holidays.net has several pages of quick and easy info to distribute, whether you’re reading between putting the turkey in the oven and mixing the green bean casserole, or aloud to your kids while they set the table. I always like learning a little bit about what we’re doing when we celebrate something, so this is right up my alley. What about yours?
What are you thankful for this year?

New eras, historical speeches, and great tragedies in this week in history…
What an incredible week this is, historically speaking. Queen Elizabeth I took the throne on 17th of November and Nixon told the press he was “not a crook.” The Gettysburg Address was made on the 19th. Sadly, the massacre in Jonestown took place on the 18th. These are just a few of the great moments in history that took place this week.
